Dandelions
Although Joanne Oberreuter has
the pure sweet voice of an angel,
her simple songs are tenderly
rooted in mundane, down-to-earth
things of life and their relation
to eternal Catholic truths. The
waters of washing machines,
showers and kitchen sinks
suggest the watersof baptism.
Medicine chests remind us of
God’s healing graces. And
parents reflect on a God who
loves like a mama and papa
would. Joanne sings “We bring
bread and wine and ordinary
lives as offering.” And it is
the ordinary getting out of bed
for a baby’s midnight feeding that
provides the imagery for the
exquisitely lovely “Love Will
Rise Again” on which Joanne is
joined by her son Daniel on
the vocal and Lori Russel on violin.

Introducing Forever: A Promise of Love
FOREVER:
A PROMISE OF LOVE
This collection takes us on
a journey through life. At
each stage it celebrates our
relationships in love. In
BAPTISM we are reminded that
“It Is With Great Joy” that we
are welcomed and fostered in
faith. In committed love we
find that we are now “Called
By Name, the better to be…”
We celebrate love lived out
till death in “I Have Fought
The Good Fight.” Throughout,
we reflect on THE GIFT OF
LOVE. “For In loving we are
then becoming images of God’s
own being shining, streaming
through eternity.”
